Privacy policy
ROOF is run by Island Global Co. This page explains what we collect when you use new-roof.world, why, and what we do with it. Questions: info@island.contact.
What we collect
- When you book a roofer visit: your name, phone number, email (if you give it), the property address, what you need, and any notes.
- When you use the roof check: the address you type (to measure the roof from aerial imagery), the roof details you enter, and any photo or quote text you upload. These are processed to give you an answer and are not saved to an account.
- When you ask us to email your results: your email address, used to send that one email. We don't add you to a mailing list.
- Basic technical data: your IP address, used briefly to stop abuse (for example, too many requests in a few minutes).
How we use it
- To call or text you about your request and arrange a roofer visit.
- To analyze your roof, photos and quotes and show you the results.
- To keep the service working and safe.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Roofers: only after you agree to a specific company, and only what they need to contact you and visit.
- Service providers that run the site for us: Vercel (hosting), Neon (storing booking requests), Resend (email), Google (address lookup, aerial roof measurements and nearby business listings), and OpenAI (reading photos and quotes and answering questions). They process data on our behalf.
- If the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking requests for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your project and warranty questions, then delete them. Ask us any time and we'll delete your information sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or tell us to stop contacting you, by emailing info@island.contact. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
Children
ROOF is for adults who own or manage a home. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
